There was a good range to choose from and the staff were very helpful. The location is easy to find (a yellow building on the left in a side street off the main road) Only 5 minutes walk to the palace entering by a side gate near the palace museum Advance booking avoids the queue

I went along with this because my girlfriend's Korean, and it seemed a cool way of looking around the palace together, although men don't get too much of a choice of costumes: we opted for the "king&queen look" (it's free entry into the palace for hanbok-wearers too). Seemingly the only Westerner onsite that day wearing traditional costume, I can't deny I felt a bit self-conscious. But after a while, you get used to it, and eventually I can even say that making the effort added to the occasion. Go for it!I wanted to wear some traditional clothes while in Seoul and this was a great way to do that and see the palaces at the same time. I wanted to wear some traditional clothes while in Seoul and this was a great way to do that and see the palaces at the same time. I went for the 2.5 hr option so that I would have to look at the palaces. When in the shop I was told what I needed to get and was left to look at and choose at my leisure. There were size guides on the wall to help you choose. After choosing you get changed and there are lockers for you to put your possessions. Even though the weather was terrible for the first part of my rental, I enjoyed looking around the palaces in traditional gear. The shop was easy to find and very close to the palaces.Easy convenient location to find a short walk from Gyeongbokgung palace.
