If you haven't truly experienced the thrill of Desert trip, please join us on this Tour and thank us later. Set back in our air-conditioned 4WD, while our experienced guide immerses you in the beauty of Rub' al Khali Desert. Start by a drive through Dhofar Mountains towards the Empty Quarter. Arrive at Wadi Dokah, where you will learn about frankincense trees in its natural habitat over an area of 5 km square grove. Proceed to Thumrait to taste the Arabian hospitality with coffee and dates while you learn about Bedouin’s culture. Continue on a paved road to the archaeological site of Ubar (the lost city), while our guide plunges you in the story behind this interesting World Heritage Site. Finally, arrive at dunes of empty quarter, where you will embark on an exciting dune-pashing activity before capturing a marvellous sunset scene. End your day happily relaxing on a high golden sand dune, while capturing the beauty of desert sunset in the Empty Quarter Desert. Return to pick up point.

Stop At: Wadi Dawkha, Salalah Oman
Drive via 'Qara' mountains. On a road progressively zigzagging up a vertical hill, herds of Camels & Cattle are a commonly spotted on the way which gives a picturesque view of one of Dhofari environments. Stop and visit Wadi Doka in the beginning of Najd (semi-desert) district 35 kilometres north of Salalah towards toward Thumrait (Bedouins settlement). Arrive at this UNESCO registered national reserve that contains 1230 perennial frankincense trees covering an area of 5 km” and have a real experience about this valuable famous tree. In addition to its scented smell, frankincense is also used as a remedial element

Proceed to Thumrait Town to have a few minutes refreshment and may be enjoying the Taste of Arabian cup of Coffee (Qahwah) and Dates (Tamer). The town of Thumrait has been a vital point in the ancient Frankincense trading routes. Gear up as you head to the next stop of lost city of Ubar archaeological.

Visit the city that has occupied, for centuries, the minds of historians and researchers for lost places, especially because its great reputation, in terms of its treasures, as well as its features that history was unable to forget despite its disappearance for a long time. Since 1930, the first failed attempt of search for the city by Bertram Sidney Thomas (his book- Arabian Felix), the English diplomat and explorer who is the first documented Westerner to cross the Rub' al Khali (Empty Quarter) and in 1940 by Sir Wilfred Patrick Thesiger another English explorer, whom wrote a book about his journey (Arabian Sands). Until the year 1992, the American researcher Nicolas clap with support of NASA satellites found great archaeological discoveries. Experience the remains of this ancient city and learn about the details of this UNESCO registered valuable history.

Our trip to the dunes was unforgettable. Hamed drove us as a local tour guide to the largest and most beautiful dunes, where we could move freely afterwards and had as long as we wanted. The drive to the dunes and the monuments was also very pleasant and Hamed provided us with enough snacks and water. In addition, Hamed was very careful and always made sure that all tour participants were safe. We did the tour during the day, but probably the trip is even more beautiful at sunset.106mikaf

Il tramonto nel deserto è sicuramente un esperienza unica ed indimenticabile. Ma anche il viaggio nell'altopiano che precede e ricco di fascino. Il viaggio prevede anche alcune soste, tutte spettacolari, nel Wadi, in cima alle montagne e tramonto sul mare. Una grande differenza in queste giornate...

Tour che tiene occupati dalle 13 alle 21 circa e permette di godersi la spiaggia la mattina. Il deserto è lontano ma il viaggio scorre con tante attrazioni, come le piantagioni di incenso, ma tutto il viaggio è da scoprire, la guida è fondamentale e noi con Hamid ci siamo trovati benissimo, ma t...
Tour che tiene occupati dalle 13 alle 21 circa e permette di godersi la spiaggia la mattina. Il deserto è lontano ma il viaggio scorre con tante attrazioni, come le piantagioni di incenso, ma tutto il viaggio è da scoprire, la guida è fondamentale e noi con Hamid ci siamo trovati benissimo, ma tutta l'organizzazione da parte dell'agenzia ha funzionato alla perfezione. Prezzi molto competitivi se paragonati ai tour organizzati al Resort e poi si ha l'esclusività della guida. Le dune vanno assaporate in silenzio e non con molte persone e la nostra guida è stata eccellente anche sulle dune. Al rientro ci siamo fermati a guardare le stelle fantastica esperienza. Insomma consiglio vivamente.
