Salim is an amazing guide, and we were very lucky to have chosen him. We have been constantly travelling in Morocco for more than 2 months, and no other guide furnished us with so much info and managed to answer our never ending questions. Apart from the walking tour itself, which I believe is a must, Salim will tell you about food, history, music, handicrafts, local habits and beliefs, politics etc. He has accumulated an incredible amount of data and would gladly share it with you. I would strongly recommend Salim as a guide, leader and most of all France.Salim is an extremely knowledgable and flexible tour guide. Salim is an extremely knowledgable and flexible tour guide. He makes every effort to ensure you fully enjoy and experience the medina, the history of Fes, and its sprawling architecture. He reaches out to you prior to the tour and if you make any requests during or afterward, he immediately accommodates for your desired experience. Incredibly warm and inviting, he takes you to shops and people he knows personally but at no turn did I feel pressured to buy at any specific location. He gives you tips on how to search for items you’d like as well as strongly insists you haggle at every step. He is honest and true to his word (and description of his tour/services), explaining the path we were about to take and each monument we stopped by.Salim is a good man. First of all, he is trustworthy, upfront, transparent and honest. He is a well respected man in the Medina. He is actually from there and knows its ins and outs, so he knows almost everyone there. Salim is a good man. First of all, he is trustworthy, upfront, transparent and honest. He is a well respected man in the Medina. He is actually from there and knows its ins and outs, so he knows almost everyone there. Although we did visit two or three shops, he made sure that I was not pressured into buying anything, and this was genuine. I didn't buy anything and it was not uncomfortable. So you don't need to worry about this typical Moroccan problem when you are with Salim. He is also extremely versed in fending off bothersome people. Apart from this, he is very knowledgeable and I really like him. He is very respectful and friendly and I learned a lot about fes and the tour was totally worth it. So you are well advised to book it.Salim was excellent! A true local insiders look at Fes that we could never have done on our own! He was warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable.
