Not too scary (12 year old son went) 5. The best part of this was the staff and the lunch at the end. We are from CA and get great mexican food but this was the best we have ever had. All authentic and made from scratch. Wonderful experience. Would 100% recommendThe zipline and the authentic Mexican lunch were great! The drive to there is over an hour. We didn’t know this. We had fun and recommend. But for planning purposes it is a full day, not a half day. More like a full day cultural experience in rural Mazatlan with zip line and lunch.

My first time ziplining. We had a small group, different levels of zip liners. Safety number one, I was real nervous once on the platform. It took me a couple lines, to truly enjoy the adventure! Thank you to Edgar for having to assure me, support me, guide: to enjoy the beauty around me. Our photographer, Danny was great too, captured so many photos. That i can share & treasure. To our main driver/ guide. Hi ho Silver aka Silverado. Truly loves people & even made our drive fun! He is very knowledgeable with all our questions. As nervous as I was, I adventured thru it all. Looking at our photos at home, I kept reliving the adventure. We had the best guides. I made Edgar work so hard, he was so gracious, We had a diverse group, whom were supportive & encouraging. Im ready !!!!Unbelievable! Great staff sites were breathtaking. Fabulous except I was hoping the bus driver would have given us information about Mazatlan. He was very quiet the ride to and the ride back. Would have loved to hear about the history and the people.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time on the zip line tour at Veraneando Adventure near Mazatlan. Raul was an excellent driver and spoke perfect English. Not too far outside of the town of Mazatlan is where we picked up our tickets and also received two free drinks, a Tecate for me and a Paloma for her. It took about 45 minutes to drive to the beautiful town of Verano. Raul showed us some beautiful sites to see in the Sierra Madre mountains. I’ve been on a few zip lining adventures before but this one was by far the best. On two of the zip lines we were allowed to go upside down with our hands free hanging in the air.! What An adrenaline rush! It was also so awesome to be able to race my girlfriend at the end on the final zip line on two separate zip lines. She had to buy us all beer after she lost the race! Everybody was happy. After this adventure, we were served amazing homemade food, salsa, and cheese. Very delicious! We also met Dulce who showed us her shop that had leather products that are made in a local town by her husband. We bought a pair of very cool sandals. Her husband is leatherworker who makes leather products and it’s also an honor to support the local people. Our tour ended with a tour through the Mr. Lionso tequila factory And we had the opportunity to taste some amazing tequila. Thank you Antonio for showing us this factory and letting us taste test some amazing tequila that was made right there in the town. Once again, thank you Raul for taking us on this adventure and I would highly recommend this adventure on anyone visiting Mazatlan in the near future. We will certainly return again! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time doing this tour! We started off being picked up at our resort and the drive was really scenic. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time doing this tour! We started off being picked up at our resort and the drive was really scenic. We saw several cool things on the way up into the mountain. It was only about 30 to 40 minutes from our resort and once we there we got started. Our guides fitted us with our harnesses and safety equipment and we were off in the Barrel Mobile! It took us up and up to the first zip line. It was exhilarating!!! I wish I would have had a Go Pro for this experience. This same tour operator also offers ATV rides but we didn't do those. It did look fun though. Once our 12 zip line adventure was complete (I even hung upside down like a fat Spiderman), we were shuttled back down to the tiny town square where we were seated under a covered area with fans, and served beers as our hosts cooked our lunch. We saw the grill going with fresh tomatoes and chilis. They brought these over to us in a mortar and pestle like bowl and we went to mottling our own fresh made salsa. After the fresh gauc, and then the queso that they poured a little Tequila on to make it flame, we were given beef and vegetables and were stuffed by the time it was time for us to go a few feet away to their Tequila Factory. It was a tiny place with HUGE barrels and all their flavors were available to taste! We purchased 4 bottles: The coffee flavor, the mango, the medicinal rattlesnake with our very own small rattlesnake in the bottle, and my favorite, the Hibiscus Tequila. We then walked next door to the leather shop where I got custom shoes made and they were delivered to my resort the next day!!! There were wallets, jewelry, and shoes. The people throughout this experience embodied hospitality. We found out later that day that we had visited the tour owner's restaurant back in the City called Mr. Lionoso's. This was hands down the best restaurant we ate at during our stay in Mazatlan. Mr. Lionoso himself greeted us on our arrival. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, a gentleman playing soft guitar music, and several staff members besides our server came to the table and checked on us BY NAME. We ordered 25 shrimp 5 different ways and a lobster. We were SHOCKED when the food came as the shrimp were as big as a hand and came in a giant clay boat with coals underneath to keep the food warm. It was delicious. After our meal, our food was boxed and we asked if we could take a walk on the beach. The server gladly kept our food on the table for us while we took some sunset pics on the beach. As we were preparing to leave, we noticed two men dressed in traditional Aztec wear and found out they were about to dance. We grabbed an empty spot, a few more drink and waited for them to dance. The dance was awesome and I was glad we didn't miss it. Right after some ways up the beach there happened to be fireworks going off and the night was perfect! We were given ice cream treats on the house on the way out and they put is in a cab to our resort. Anything connected with Mr. Lionoso I would recommend doing as he makes hospitality a priority in his businesses and his staff take it to heart.
