It is the only submerged volcano in Jeju Island.
The outer circumference of the crater is 2, 067m, the inner circumference is 756m, and the depth of the crater is 100-146m, forming a conical cliff, and the floor area is about 8, 000 pyeong. The crater rarely ejected lava, only a hole was dug deep by the explosion, and the material from the explosion was scattered in all directions and only a small amount accumulated around it. Although the diameter and depth of the crater are larger than that of Baeknokdam, the water does not accumulate and flows out to the sea through the basalt gravel layer of the crater wall. We wanted a comprehensive tour of Jeju, visiting key sites like the Lava Tubes and famous Haenyeo women divers. We got that and more through a full day of sightseeing with Ko Shii. He went the extra mile to take lots of pictures of us, and his efforts to drive us around the island efficiently and...

Unfortunately for us it was a foggy day, and so we could not climb up Seonsang Ilchulbong, but Mr. Ko brought us to Manjanggul and some other places and helped us make the most of our day. Five stars for Mr. Ko!

Had a interesting day exploring Jeju islands. The driver was there at the cruise terminal on time and he took us to many interesting places and also showed us an excellent Ramen place for lunch. We had a great time and reached our cruise ship safely and on time.
