Food was great, from the oysters, clam chowder, lobster rolls, donair and ice cream. Sue was knowledgeable and it was a great walk! A highlight of our trip!Sarah was an excellent, friendly guide. The food at all the stops was delicious. Half portions of the donair and lobster roll (and no fries) would suffice. And the final stop was a great way to end the tour.

All the food was excellent except the ice cream/dessert. And it was a lot of food-we were stuffed. The ice cream had "cotton candy" around it and it melted quickly into a very sticky mess. The ice cream was good, but the sticky droplets got on my clothes. Also, the itinerary says you go to the Maritime Museum, but we didn't and guide said it wasn't on the list. I don't think we could have had time to see it anyway, but perhaps it should be removed from the tour description. We still enjoyed the tour. We've done food tours in many cities and it is a great way to sample local food and get some history. We had a great time sampling food in the harbor area of Halifax Sarah and Susie knew so much about the area. It was fun and FILLING! We had all kinds of delicious quality food. And learned a lot about the area.
