Halifax Segways had really good equipment and it was located just up from the Bay. The trip was 1 hour and we guessed we saw 8 miles of the city including getting off at several stops. The learning curve was pretty quick as long as you have good balance and coordination. Despite the City being crowded during the Busker Festival, our trip was safe and relatively u ncrowded. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gracious. It was a great way to spend an hour seeing this magnificent city.Best way to tour Halifax period!!!! There's no better way to tour a city than a Segway Tour. . . on an unseasonably cold and windy day, our tour of Halifax turned out to be insightful, educational and fun. Our guide, Emma, was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. She gave us sufficient breaks to rest our legs and use the bathroom, when necessary. It frankly would have been miserable doing a walking tour on the 1 day we were in Halifax given the weather, but with our Segway's, we were able to go to the top of the Citadel and hit all of the surrounding hot spots.
