We had lots fun with Pu and our wonderful driver Pu was knowledgeable and told us many wonderful stories about her family especially her grandmother who is 90 and still works on the farm We visited a lotus tea farm and had lotus tea, we visited a temple where children were receiving their graduation scarf, drove through the rice paddies, cemeteries, and villages. We had an amazing lunch back in The old town of Hanoi. The pho was amazing. A very interesting and enjoyable tour with guide Jim. Great to get out of the city a bit and see some farmland and the village of Bat Trang. Jim was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and a great guide. Trying my hand at pottery making was fun. The lunch stop was intended to be for Bun Cha but when I mentioned to Jim that I'd only recently tried that, he arranged to go for Pho instead. This was my second tour with Hanoi Backstreet Tours and I highly recommend this company. As a solo traveller I appreciated the care Jim took to make sure I had a great time.
