We also visited some interesting sites between food stops, by virtue of being on a motorcycle (which I loved).Fantastic tour, great food and fun travel on the bikes. Jasmine was a great host and gave us lots of interesting information about what we were eating and the places we were visiting. We felt very safe in her and her colleague Helen's hands.

This was honestly one of the best experiences I did in Vietnam. To know about food is to learn about ones history and culture. Our tour guide named Nhi was amazing. She taught us so much about Vietnam culture and insightful info about the food. Nhi was so personable and friendly that I felt like I knew her long before the food experience. Taking the motorbike was even better to get a true local experience. I couldn’t recommend this experience enough. Please do it if you are visiting Hanoi!I spent a week in Hanoi, exploring cafés and restaurants by myself. I spent a week in Hanoi, exploring cafés and restaurants by myself. I’m very glad Justine recommended I do this street food tour, as it has afforded me a completely different, super unique and bespoke experience of local food. I took the motorcycle street food tour, it was at night, took around 3 hours and ate at 7 different places. Nhi was my guide, she’s an expert in local food, not only because she used to work in the food industry, but mainly because she’s made it her mission to taste and rank every place in Hanoi, so she can offer her best-educated opinion on any dish. She picked me up from my hotel, super on time, gave me a helmet, and took me on a route she made especially for me. Each food stall and restaurant we visited specialised in one kind of food or one particular dish, and Nhi tailored the route to fit my requirements and my taste (as I am coeliac, everything had to be gluten-free, and additionally, I requested no seafood). At each stop, in every place, the food was fantastic. Not only that, but the insights about the food, the history and the traditions that Nhi shared were spot on, and the scooter part was amazing, as it allowed us to go further and reach places that would’ve been impossible in a walking tour. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi. Do it on your first day!
