The Heart of the Alps tour did not disappoint in views, weather, experiences with locals and dining at a quaint restaurant in the heart of the valley. Too many waterfalls to count! This tour was basically a decent hike and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We are grateful for Rene' and Denise for leading us on this once in a lifetime experience. We had a great time on this hike with John, our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this hike, and would rate it an easy hike but definitely wear hiking boots as some of the trails are rocky.

We had such a blast!! A day tour through the heart of the alps with tour guide David; I cannot say enough. One of the highlights of our trip, he knew lots about the area and helped us feel secure and comfortable. Great person to talk too and clearly loves what he does! Recommend hiking boots if sensitive but just as easy with trusty sneakers. spots to swim if your brave too! Don’t go if rainy and cloudy, and don’t bring many snacks. Lots of food along the way.. Thank you for the lovely time, couldn’t have been the same without this wonderful program- we can’t wait to do more.My daughter and I booked this hike as the highlight of our trip to Lucerne. My daughter and I booked this hike as the highlight of our trip to Lucerne. The hike was amazing. It was actually more than a hike, as we made stops along the way for coffee, cheese with a tour of the cheese making process and lunch. Our guide John knew so much about the area and shared a great deal of interesting information along the way. He was also super nice, accommodating and helpful, going above and beyond. The scenery was stunning, there were many photo opportunities along the way. The hike ended with an incline ride down the mountain and a ferry back to Lucerne. We’re very happy we booked this hike!
