You’ll hear stories that only a person born and raised in Finland would know about. After the tour, you’ll know why is there a statue of a Russian Czar in the most famous square of Helsinki? Is Finland really the happiest country in the world? When do Finns gather in the market square to swim in a fountain? What’s the “unicorn block”? Is Finnish that difficult to learn?

Had one day in Helsinki and wanted to get to know the city as best I could in a short time. Jonna accomplished this for me, by both her engaging personality and knowledge of a town she is clearly proud of. Prior to the tour I told Jonna I was a bit of a history nerd, and she accommodated me with plenty of Helsinki history as well as contemporary aspects of the city. Highly recommend this tour.Jonna was great. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and open to questions and discussion. It was like meeting up with a friend who showed us around her hometown.
