Location: Easy to find. I’m from Ontario, but had no issues with GPS assistance that took me right there! Parking: Annoying parking meter, but when I finally figured it out on my app it was okay. But cost me 20 mins to do so. There is ample convenient parking. Accessibility: A lot of walking, which I love. And there is an in-park shuttle & the choochoo train!!! It’s mainly flat roads, but would require a wheelchair for someone who has concerns with lengthy walking. And bring the children’s stroller. Cost: Admission ticket has to be purchased online, very user friendly. And it’s an easy scan in at the gates. There are a few stores & restaurants inside. Activities: Love the train! However; the cruise was closed. And there are rides for the children. And there was an election going on during our last election, which was super cool meeting the candidates. Staff: Very friendly & informative. The wood shop staff, the best! It’s a real workshop that I enjoyed. Future visit: Most definitely, this time with my family to explore the different historic sites!!!Great place!! Too big to see and do all in one day!! Awesome for families, something for everyone!! Family and grandchildren, loved bakery and candy store!!

Lived in Alberta for over 20 years and had no clue how great this spot was. Our whole family enjoyed themselves and we couldn't even get half the park in! Gasoline Alley was amazing, with all the old school cars and gas pumps (with vintage signage everywhere!) Bakery was fantastic (fresh baked cheese buns anyone?) Lots of treats and some vintage carnival rides made the day complete. Yes, you need to bring your wallet - it is a little tourist-trappy. But the rides are free, so no complaints there. And the food was good! Need to go back to see the rest of the park. Oh yeah - the free boat road is worth the wait! It’s an amazing place to visit in Calgary and spend time with family and children. It’s an amazing place to visit in Calgary and spend time with family and children. Great opportunity to learn about Canadian pioneer life before Candian Pacific Railway started. The gasoline car gallery was very attractive. Always check out the activities by scanning the QR code right before entering the gravel road. Keep water and snacks handy.I’ve been to Heritage Park many times with my own children and now I’ve taken a granddaughter with me. There’s so much to see and do, I usually find one day isn’t enough to take it all in. During this visit there were less actors and actresses role playing throughout the park.

We loved the old carnival rides that are still operational. And of course the train ride around the park. Great place to visit!
