We booked this tour during our stay in Kyoto with hopes of learning a little more about each site we visited while exploring by bike instead of walking all over. The tour FAR exceeded our expectations. Yuta was our guide, and he was absolutely wonderful. He very clearly explained every site we visited and made sure to find us a shady place to stand while he talked on a very warm sunny day, which was much appreciated. The tour company was easy to find and they provided us with water and electric bikes. Never having rode an electric bike before, and after having climbed to the top of Fushimi Inari the morning of our tour, the electric assist was so easy and made for a nice pleasant ride versus physically challenging. We went to some amazing places, but really, what made the tour was Yuta. You can go to all these same places on your own if you wish, but without the explanations from such a kind tour guide it would not be the same at all. Not only that, he provided us with helpful information on the bus system and gave restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend checking out the Waygu he likes. It was very delicious. I wish we could've hired Yuta to take us all around Kyoto during our stay. Thank you, Yuta!It is not just a great experience, but a very insightful learning experience. We didn't just got to see/experience the highlight of Kyoto, but it came with the highlight of the Japans history. The tour is a piece of art in a way. It is not just a great experience, but a very insightful learning experience. We didn't just got to see/experience the highlight of Kyoto, but it came with the highlight of the Japans history. The tour is a piece of art in a way. We met other turists later in our trip and that's when we realized how much culture we absorbed in these few hours with Sean. Sean is a very skillful guide, balancing very well the amount of details given to each location or whatever question that we had. He is English native which makes it easy to understand everything he says. He definitely knows alot about japans history and culture. Plus he is very humble and has a cute personality. If it wasn't for his clean English accent, you would definitely confuse him as a local, based on his self aware behavior. Very japanese style.Absolutely loved this ebike tour! Sean was an incredible guide, and very attentive to his group. The tour itself has something a little different at every stop. If you're a fence sitter, go ahead and book! You won't be disappointed!

If we could give more than five stars, we would. This was a wonderful way to see Kyoto. The best of the three tours that we have taken so far. Sean was a great tour guide with lots of good information and very easy to understand. Fluent English. The E bikes worked very well. Sean took us to five different places, including shrines, temples, and the tea ceremony. Over the 3 1/2 hours, we probably spent 45 minutes actually on the bikes, interspersed with stops to see things. RECOMMENDED!Yuta was a fabulous guide. So important to have someone with personal knowledge of Japanese life and culture. We would have enjoyed more cycling however. Under 7 miles. The route is pretty short . Yuta introduced us to Zen meditation during the tour. An unexpected treat.
