Over a welcome drink she explained to us the history of Bologna and importantly how the bus ticket system works! We saw the main sites of the city centre ; The Piazza Maggiore, The Basilca of San Petronio with its famous sundial and much more The alleys of the ancient market area were fascinating and a highlight was a Balsalmic Vineger tasting.
