One of the highlights of my recent trip to the Northern Territory was visiting Uluru. I had been told to do a sunrise and sunset tour by another solo traveler and am I glad that I followed her advice! Georgia was an amazing guide who was respectful, knowledgeable and just a complete joy to be around. I cannot even put into words the feeling you get witnessing the sunrise at this very special place on earth. DO not hesitate to book it with SEIT. I thoroughly enjoyed being in a small van with a small group to make it a more memorable experience.Matt our driver/guide was fantastic. Very engaging and knowledgable. Ayers Rock at sunrise has to be seen. Great breakfast followed by a walk to various places of interest around the rock. Highly recommend this tour and if you get Matt it’s a bonus.

All four in our group thoroughly enjoyed this special experience. John our guide was a genuine old guy with lots of experience at Uluru. We were picked up on time, John made an unscheduled stop so that we could get the best view of the sun rise and a great photo opportunity. Our breakfast was simple yet delicious, as much as you could eat museli, fruit and a great banana bread all washed down with as much tea, coffee and juice as you wanted. We then moved on to the Mutajula waterhole. John explained the messages given in the rock art and the waterhole was a green haven amongst the dry desert landscape. Take a fly veil, available at the IGA at the resort area and enjoy the sunrise at Uluru.Amazing experience in the Australian Outback. Amazing experience in the Australian Outback. Our guide, Jo, picked us up from the hotel on a minivan - a great relief to see that it would be a small group, as we saw many big buses leaving just before us with larger groups. From the moment we stepped into the van she started making introductions, getting people to talk and telling us about the place, the stories, what we were about to experience etc. The tour itself was breathtaking. We started at the main lookout, where we had the opportunity to see the sunrise, take pictures, have a quick and yummy breakfast offered by SEIT Outback - including hot drinks! - and use the bathroom. From there we went to Uluru itself. On the way she told us about the vegetation, different kinds of trees and bushes... As we walked towards Uluru, she told us stories about how the park and visits are managed, what we visitors are allowed to do and what not, everything about the deeply respectful attitude towards the local culture and nations. We then drove around it - no photos allowed as we drive past the sacred sites to either genders - and saw where it used to be the climbing spot. Since 2019 it is no longer allowed, and Jo told us how they established this date and the rules around educating people instead of just forbidding. It is incredible. She offered us more of her time explaining and telling stories, as no one in the group was too much on a rush. Absolutely recommend this experience to anyone interested in experiencing Uluru in all its uniqueness! This is pleasant low key introduction to Uluru - a beautiful sunrise; a light breakfast; a walk to see some aspects of the Rock including indigenous rock art, plus a drive around the monolith. Our guide was pleasant and informative and it was a great way to start the day.
