This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Tayrona National Park, Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta Municipality, Magdalena Department
We will pick you up at the coordinated time, and after one hour of driving, we will arrive at the Tayrona National Park entrance. After we buy the tickets, pass the security gates and drive for about 10 more minutes, we leave the car in the parking lot and from that exact moment, our journey will start. It will be hard, it's about 4 hours of ups and downs in humid weather (it takes just 15 minutes to be soaked in sweat), however, all of that will be left behind the moment you start watching the amazing coastline full of gigantic rocks that look like prehistoric dinosaurs eggs, the beautiful flora, and if we are lucky enough the three different types of monkeys that live there. Besides nature, you will also learn about the people who used to protect the area; The Tayronas, and also, their descendants, The Koguis, Wiwas, Kankuamos, and Arhuacos, we will explain to you their costumes, their history, and their current situation since we will meet some of them on our way.
Duration: 6 hours
Stop At: Cabo San Juan Del Guia, Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta Municipality Colombia
After two hours of hiking, we will finally arrive at Cabo San Juan Beach, here, you can relax, swim, take lunch and then at 2:30 PM, we return using the same way back to the parking lot, then drive back to your place and thus officially finish the experience.
Duration: 3 hours

An amazing, memorable experience! Our guide Alex from Bukap was extremely knowledgeable about the floral and fauna, history, and culture of Tayrona Park. We learned so much and had the most fun on our tour. I highly recommend this company!

Honestly, this is a difficult hike but worth the views. Diva, our guide was great at going at our pace and explaining things around us. We got to see two types of monkeys, including howler monkeys. The beach was worth it. The nicer and calmer beaches are near the end of the hike and we stopped at the calmer beach, swam, and had lunch there. Because this is a private hike, you can go at your own pace and time which is nice. If you choose the hike, be sure to have something calm to do the next day lol.Fue un dia que disfrutamos muchisimo! Nos encanto Tayrona y la compania y todo lo que aprendimos con nuestra guia.

Eduardo was a great tour guide and truly made our time at Tayrona one to remember. He explained items in detail, stopped for great views, and allowed us to pick which beach we were going to stop at. I would recommend this tour and Eduardo to anyone!

Marvelous experience!! First off our tour guide Eduardo and our driver Mario were right on time to pick us up from our hotel. They knew to leave early to beat the traffic and get there at an early hour. Once we got there Eduardo took care of everything from getting the tickets to securing a passage into the park in our private car. Once we got there he set expectations and was every informative about everything pertaining to the tour and also any questions we had about the country. He took us to 3 beaches and let us decide were we wanted to lay out and jump in the water. He recommended what places to eat and which bathrooms to use. He was a great tour guide. He even helped us get a reservation at a restaurant back in Santa Marta. If you are looking for a tour into the park look no further book with Eduardo. He deserves all the stars and more.My partner and I really wanted to be immersed in nature so we knew we had to have Tayrona on our itinerary. Carlos was our tour guide and such a sweet person. My partner and I really wanted to be immersed in nature so we knew we had to have Tayrona on our itinerary. Carlos was our tour guide and such a sweet person. He’s a local of Santa Marta and very knowledgeable on the city’s history, landmarks, neighborhoods and the area’s indigenous communities which was very important to us to understand as to make sure we are respecting the land and the communities who share it. Overall I would definitely recommend this trip as you’ll see multiple beautiful beaches on the way. However, it’s important to note that this is a two hour hike there and back and it’s quite hot and even hotter on the way back as it’s later in the day.
