Viator is a struggle in Crete. We did not get the information about the pick up time and missed the bus. The local travel agent got us a taxi and we met the bus in Heraklion. A great tour and a must do to understand some of the history. Not my favorite tour but glad we did it.

It was a great convenience to be picked up but he pickup bus arrived 25 minutes late. After couple more pickups we were then driven to a bigger bus with a guide that spoke in English. That bus was a double decker with AC and very comfortable. Our tour guide Soula was very good. She gave detailed info and was humorous also. On the return we got a walking tour of the city center where she pointed out the important places to visit. Soula was the best.Knossos palace and follow up at the museum. Way too much time spent in lines due to the number of people on the tour. The guide did as well as possible with such a large group.
