The amphitheater, baths, museum and other crucial sites were a part of the tour. The participants were a serious history buff and me who has a more casual interest in history. We (safely) explored the amphitheater where St. Perpetua was martyred after hearing the inspirational story, the remains of the early church in Carthage where the Holy Bible was canonized, the Roman baths remnants, etc. Despite the hot sun, the tour was great time, taught me a lot, and made me appreciate more the beautiful historical sites of Carthage. Thank you, Tarek!!Everything was so interesting and Tarek was a great guide. I never knew any of the history of Tunis , Tunisia and Catharge and it was astonishing to see and learn some of it. Tarek is an amazing tour guide. We learned so much about the history of Tunisia and Carthage. He explained things well and answered all of our questions as we went along. We also had a one hour language lesson from him before we met for our tour. He taught us a few words and phrases and a bit about the history of the language of Tunisia. It really helped us when we were in the markets and spending time in the city. I highly recommend Tarek for any tours or language tutoring you need while in Tunisia. I know we will ask for him the next time we visit!
