- The Hobbiton is not Wheelchair due to uneven path but we can arrange a golf car to take you around (depends on availability)

The Hobbiton tour was amazing. Everything I expected and more. Our driver Chris was incredibly helpful and looked after us. He was knowledgeable but not overwhelming. Would definitely recommend both Hobbiton and Auckland and Beyond Tours.

I recently went on the Hobbit Movie Set tour and, while I had a good time, I must say that there were a few drawbacks to the experience that resulted in me giving it a three-star review. First of all, the driver took a detour on the way back, which added a significant amount of time to the journ...
I recently went on the Hobbit Movie Set tour and, while I had a good time, I must say that there were a few drawbacks to the experience that resulted in me giving it a three-star review. First of all, the driver took a detour on the way back, which added a significant amount of time to the journey. Then, when we arrived in Auckland, he began to show a passenger in the front around the city without including the rest of us over the speaker system. This turned a quick drop-off into a 50-minute detour and it seemed like a private tour for the girl in the front. To make matters worse, the tour started half an hour late and finished two hours later than stated because of the detour, which was frustrating since I had other plans for the day. On the positive side, Angelo the driver was good at meeting us and guiding us towards the bus and the check-in to the movie set. At the movie set, ther tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, sharing interesting behind-the-scenes stories and pointing out the intricate details that went into creating the world of Middle Earth. Additionally, the set design was stunning, and I was impressed by the attention to detail. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit movies and is willing to overlook the drawbacks I mentioned. However, if you have time-sensitive plans, you might want to consider a different tour or making arrangements to ensure a timely return.Rahul_gaurana

mr.chris was amazing through out the journey the best man to have as an tour guide and Every little details he Know he shared with us. And it was an entertaining trip with him,he kept on smiling and made us smiling all over the trip and I am looking forward to come back and will go only with Mr C...

The trip was Fantastic. We had a super nice the driver from Auckland that also explain us a lot about Auckland's History and knew a lot about Hobbiton. It was a very day!

We had the best time exploring the Hobbiton movie set and seeing beautiful New Zeland. Warren(Waza) kept us fully engaged and entertained telling us about New Zeland and how to pronounce Māori words correctly. He also made use feel very safe and he was so caring.
