We depart Inverness at 7.30am and begin our journey along the world-famous Loch Ness, stopping for photos above the ruins of Urquhart Castle.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Commando Monument, Spean Bridge, Spean Bridge PH34 4EG Scotland
We continue west, and visit the Commando Memorial which overlooks the Nevis Range; home to the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Fort William, Fort William, Lochaber, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Now is your chance to board the Jacobite Steam Train in Fort William, one of the most spectacular railway journeys in the world. The train crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct where a monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie’s campaign now stands. The train ride is approximately 2.5 hrs and will take you to Mallaig where your guide will meet you.

Enjoy your lunch stop in the fishing village of Mallaig. We would suggest sampling some of the local seafood!

It is time to set your sights upon the Jacobite Steam Train as it crosses the iconic arches of the Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Stop At: Fort Augustus, Fort Augustus, Loch Ness Region, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
The beautiful scenery continues into the evening with a stop in Fort Augustus to see the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness up close.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Suidhe Viewpoint, B862, Fort Augustus IV2 6UP Scotland
Enjoy some unspoiled views on the less travelled road on the south side of Loch Ness.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: The Falls of Foyers, Foyers IV2 6XU Scotland
View the Falls of Foyers, spectacular 140ft waterfall in which the River Foyers drops into a gorge leading to Loch Ness.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Dores, Dores, Loch Ness Region, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Finally, we visit Dores Beach on the banks of Loch Ness.
Duration: 10 minutes

If you are only passing through for a not so long time a tour is very much well worth it, you see so much in one day. Harrison was our tour guide for the day and he was fun and informative!
