Really interesting tour of a fairly new and most definitely upcoming distillery. Bryce made the tour great, so thanks for that. And the drinks were amazing. Buy the extra tasting, it's worth it.

Outstanding distillery tour, I highly recommend making the time to do this one. Bryce was wonderful from start to finish, extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I learned so much about both distilling, local history, and Holyrood approach to whisky and other spirits. All the people that work there were friendly and helpful. Says good things when a company has staff that are passionate about what they do and focused on providing a great experience.Great experience with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Drinks were great and it’s amazing to hear about the sustainability initiatives they have as the first distillery back in Edinburgh since the early 1900s. Definitely worth an hour or two to hear about the history!

We had a lovely time at the Holyrood Distillery. The guide was really interesting and funny, he made us laugh with some jokes but also taught us everything there is to know about Gin & Whisky. The tour was well made, we always had a drink while listening to the explanation and we took our time, going from one room to another. Meaning, we had time to appreciate the drink and not be in a hurry for the next one. We were also taught how to drink a Gin or Whisky properly. At the end, we had 4 more drinks to taste and spend a lovely time at the bar. And finally, we visited the shop and had a very interesting discussion with the person there. We were able to taste a few more Gin and bought the ones we were interested in. Finally, bonus point for one of the assistant that spoke French ! We highly recommend doing a tour with the new and beautiful distillery, we felt at home and loved it.Such enthusiasm and knowledge of the distillery process from Elsie, the whole tour was fascinating and varied as we moved from room to room, tasting and appreciating. One competed the tour feeling one had learnt a lot.
