Nice way to see the city and get a little bit of history. Could be improved by the driver or a guide doing the commentary rather than the recording.

Cork has a bus system where you pay one price (I believe it was $11 Euros per person) which was good for a 24-hour pass. It took you all over the city of Cork and had about 8 or 10 specific spots (attractions in town) that you could get off and go through and the bus would be back every hour or so. You could then get back on and go to another destination. The bus was a doubleheader with the upstairs part of the bus was half enclosed like a regular bus, and the back half was open air seating. My wife and we sat on top outside. It was an opportunity to get some of our most favorite photos of locations within the city.In theory, this is a great way to see the city of Cork in a short time. In theory, this is a great way to see the city of Cork in a short time. The tour covers the main attractions, the commentary is useful, and the bus drivers were lovely. The problem (and it's a BIG one) is the stops are not well marked at all, and the map of the route gives no indication of where the stops are either. We missed hours off the tour looking for the stop and missing the bus twice, just because we couldn't find where the stops where. As an example, one of the stops on the map is entitled "Shandon Street." This is a long road- the stop could've been anywhere- and it turns out that the stop wasn't even on the street, it was at the Butter Museum where there was no sign at all! This tour would be MUCH better if each stop was well marked and numbered, and if the map indicated exactly where the stop is (using a landmark or a street number would make a world of difference). I live in Ireland and won't be recommending the tour to visitors until this is rectified. Not acceptable...If you are going to offer hop on and hop off tour of Cork City you should offer the tour in other languages other than English.. Its said Irish people are very welcoming! This is certainly not an example of that..
