Do Not Book A Trip!!!! Please save yourself £120 and spend it on Ubers instead! You will see more for less money and have the luxury to be dropped off wherever you wish to go! I bought a two days pass (£120) used it for one day and got off two stops only! There are no designated bus stops, you’re just standing at a lamppost or on the side of the road! Tried to hop on at Venice Beach stop 83 bus driver drove right past me after I stuck out my hand for him to stop&ran down the road chasing the bus!I had to get an Uber back to my hotel! I’m demanding a refund! The bus driver on the day first day (Robert Aguilera) was so rude when I asked him when the last bus ran! NEVER AGAIN! Also be warned it does not run frequently you have to wait 45-1hr or more between every stop! I’ve been on these buses in so many other countries and this is the worst!! They should stop their business&sack all the drivers! Ps: the rude bus drivers names are on the tickets so use it to inform the company who they are?The hop on and hop off tour was a good tour.. it takes you around with 3 different tour areas and 44 stops.. the celebrity home tour is not worth it. You will not get to see the homes up close. It's best to just do the hop on hop off tour.. don't do the combo.

Booked the Downtown LA Hop on Hop Off Bus on August 13 as I wanted a tour of the downtown area. First, the tour is a taped narration and not narrated by a guide. Our tape was not in sync with the location of the bus, so we were constantly hearing about buildings and locations that we had passed some 45 seconds to a minute earlier. The bus was also not an open top bus, so the rook and pillars greatly reduced or prevented any photography. Plus--be advised, the ride is very bumpy, although that is not uncommon in bus tours. The downtown LA area has some very interesting sights, and I'd love a return visit and hop off to explore a vibrant-looking Chinatown. But there are more areas than not on the tour where it just does not look safe to be off the bus. Starline can't help the fact that some of the areas on the tour are less than attractive, just a forewarning to future tourists. Our travel agent bought us a 2 day ticket on this bus from Australia based on the fact that it is advertised as being accessible for wheelchairs. Our travel agent bought us a 2 day ticket on this bus from Australia based on the fact that it is advertised as being accessible for wheelchairs. True, with a sigh the driver did let down the ramp to let us on. But due to all of the advertising decals all over the bus on the ground floor we could not see out the windows or take a single picture. The driver called in her supervisor Brian so we could tell him when we asked if she could provide some feedback to management about the issue. He did not make eye contact, and then walked off without acknowledging me. Do not use this rude, unhelpful service. I have wasted my money. Won’t be using the second day of the ticket. The tour buses were very old and rundown. Sound system was very sporadic needing to be reset many times by users and/or the driver. Buses were also very dirty and vision was obscured by graphics on lower level windows. VIP tour of Chinese Theater was good.
