This was definitely a highlight of our trip! The ranch is such a cool place with lots of other activities to do. The staff is so friendly and willing to help. We had no riding experience prior to getting on the horses and we got comfortable quickly. Our guide was always looking back to make sure we were okay. Riding through the jungle and onto a pretty secluded beach was the coolest experience! We got to gallop with the guide safely next to us on the beach which was also fun. The horses were so well behaved and well cared for. They have a photographer who takes pictures along the trail. You do have to pay extra for the pictures but they were absolutely worth it. The photos are high quality and 10000 times better than anything we could have taken with our phones. Super cool memento. When the activity was done we had a nice tequila tasting and the staff gave us a ride back to town. Overall 10/10 experience and would highly recommend visiting for any of the activities at the ranch when visiting Sayulita! The ride through the jungle was spectacular, but emerging on the beach was even more spectacular. It was an awesome adventure!

Awesome venue, you can tell they take care of their animals. We signed up for a 1.5 hour ride where we trail rode through the jungle and got to gallop on the beach. Really accommodating for riders of all levels and they speak very good English. After the ride we had a tequila tasting; tips only and you can buy a bottle of local tequila for a great price. Would really recommend.Bilingual??? Nope! Although we requested an English speaking guide, our leader did not know a bit of English. Bilingual??? Nope! Although we requested an English speaking guide, our leader did not know a bit of English. With this type of tour, this creates a very dangerous situation for all involved. For example, my son’s horse tried to roll on the beach twice, and our guide was unable to communicate to keep him safe. This ultimately led to him walking for the remainder of the tour! Additionally, my husband’s horse darted out of the jungle, out of control. Once again our guide could offer no support. No instruction was given on how to safely ride a horse either. Keep yourself, family and friends safe...”gallop” pass this tour!My husband and I paid $230.00 for a 2.5 hour horseback ride that was supposed to include a swim in a hidden waterfall. My husband and I paid $230.00 for a 2.5 hour horseback ride that was supposed to include a swim in a hidden waterfall. We booked it by calling the number provided directly and setting it up with Lily, the women who answered the phone. The tour was for 2 PM on December 30, 2021. We arrived a few minutes early and were informed that we couldn’t ride at that time, because there was an error and they didn’t have our reservation. They told us we had to come back and go at 4, and it would be the same price. Great, we agreed. What we got was a one hour ride, no swimming and no waterfall. We figured it was just an honest mistake, so we returned to let them know and get money back for the time we didn’t get (1.5 hrs is $166, so we thought we would just pay that, even though we didn’t even get that much time). They refused to give us our money back, saying they didn’t have it and we could have some ceviche and margaritas instead. That’s not really worth $70 so we declined. Then the guy just said sorry there is nothing he can do. Don’t book with these guys - there are plenty of other tours with honest staff that won’t rip you off. This was such a perfect horseback tour! This was such a perfect horseback tour! We went through a beautiful jungle area, got to gallop on the beach, and it seemed like the perfect amount of time. I loved our tour guide Ricky, as well as wonderful photographer Adrian who took amazing pictures of us! Transfer from Sayulita was super easy and everyone we dealt with from this company was pleasant and welcoming. I was a little sad to see how the horses were posed without being able to move their heads while in the stables, though. Overall, highly recommend.
