First things first: The tour was great! We would recommend it to everybody who loves to dive into Hue‘s history. We booked the group tour but got a private tour just for ourselves instead (still for the group tour price), which was great as we could go at our own speed. Tuan showed us around and spoke really good English. He is very friendly and helpful. Tuan has a great knowledge about Hue‘s history as he studied history for 4 years. Therefore, he was able to answer all our questions. Little side note: My shoe broke on the way and Tuan even organized, that my shoe got fixed for free! So kind! Thank you! Thank you so much for the great tour!Very good tour around Hue Citadel. I would not know everything i know about Vietnam/Hue’s history if it was not this tour. Highly recommend
Very good tour around Hue Citadel. I would not know everything i know about Vietnam/Hue’s history if it was not this tour. Highly recommendWe had a great time with My. The visit took us 3 hours. This is a real immersion in the last Vietnam dynasty. She had great explanations and answered to all of our questions. She left us some time alone in the places so it was nice to not feel rush. Her English was perfect.

We did 2 great private tours with bee bee travel. First we did the citadel tour with Ms Linh and we learned so much in a really enjoyable way. I think the tour was scheduled for 3h but we took nearly 5 as we asked loads of questions which Linh enthusiastically answered. That tour was so good we booked the royal tombs tour the next day! Our guide for the royal tours was Ms My. Like Linh, My spoke excellent English, had a great interpersonal style and explained all we wanted to know. For the tombs we had a bee bee driver, he was helpful with umbrellas as it was raining loads and was a good safe driver who we felt safe with, but unfortunately he did not speak English so I have forgotten his name. Highly recommended. Our tour with My was one of the highlights of our trip so far. We ended up being the only two on the tour. Our tour with My was one of the highlights of our trip so far. We ended up being the only two on the tour. As an archaeologist and a history buff, we had many questions and a deep interest in Vietnam's history. My was certainly up to the task of a private tour with us. Not only was her knowledge extensive, she was also friendly and easy to talk to. We spent three and a half hours just walking around and talking, getting to ask her all the burning questions we've had about Vietnamese history and culture. No topic was off limits. At the end, we were sad to say goodbye as it felt like we had made a friend more than just met a tour guide. Seriously, anyone is lucky to have My give them a tour. If you're interested in Vietnamese history, this is an absolute must.
