What to expect
You're about to join the most comprehensive Whale Watching tour in Cabo San Lucas. Our Marine Biologist will amaze you with plenty of interesting information about the area you're visiting, local histories and obviously everything there is to know about the Humpback Whales.
Our tour is 2, 5 hours long, after checking-in in our office, we'll head to our boats and will start our trip by visiting some of the most iconic symbols of Cabo San Lucas: the Arch and the Sea Lion colony. Once everyone is happy with the starter we head our either to the Pacific or the Sea of Cortez depending on weather conditions and suggestions of our experts: the guide and the captain.
Little suggestion:
choose the early morning tour at 08:00 or 11:00am if you prefer calmer Oceans: those times are also good for groups with very young children, older people and people who tend to get seasick. Otherwise just take the one that better fits your schedule.
Stop At:
• Bay of Cabo San Lucas, Website Link Does Not Work, Cabo San Lucas 23450 Mexico
• El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, Cabo San Lucas T2A 6P2 Mexico

Our humpback whale watching adventure with Cabo Trek was the real deal. Vanuza, a marine biologist from Brazil, was incredible and we learned a ton about humpback whales, migration patterns, and the area. We spent over and hour traveling alongside a mother and baby humpback while Freddie, our captain navigated the at times choppy waters. Vanuza’s energy, enthusiasm and vast knowledge made this experience truly unforgettable. The boat and safety protocols were all on point as well. We highly recommend this experience and definitely ask for Vanuza!- Responsible towards the whales (kept 50m distance minimum) - Very knowledgeable guide - Extremely safe driving of the boat - Easy access from Carnival Cruise ship boat shuttles We recommend doing the 8am option because then you have time for a great lunch somewhere.

Our experience was so much more than just whale watching. We were given a little education on the rock formations around Cabo. Then off we went looking for whales. We were fortunate enough to see a blue whale and several hump back whales one with their calf. For several minutes the calf took an interest in our boat and dived and swam around us surfacing to take us all. Was a magical and lucky experience to be so close to these majestic animals.
