I visited Hunza Valley during the off-season and Hunza explorer was able to provide a customised tour at a very reasonable price that suited my budget. They were flexible and well-organised and was very responsive to all my queries. There were several hiccups during my trip (through no fault of theirs), such as my luggage being left behind in Islamabad during the flight from Islamabad to Gilgit, and my return flight from Gilgit to Islamabad being cancelled due to weather conditions), but Hunza Explorer was able to react professionally to these unforeseen circumstances and ensured that my visit was as hassle free as possible. The guide and driver were excellent and friendly, and were able to tweak the itinerary in the spot to best suit the situation. We have just spent 10 days visiting the Hunza Valley, Taxila and Rawalpindi. We have just spent 10 days visiting the Hunza Valley, Taxila and Rawalpindi. It was an amazing trip. We saw snow capped mountains, glaciers , raging torrents and incredible rock formations. We walked through villages and were invited into local homes. Our accommodation, from a homestay to four star hotels were all clean and comfortable. The food was excellent , both in the hotels and restaurants. It was a tailor made trip organised by Karim . We had a guide, Faisal and driver Saeed who looked after us very well and made our tour memorable. We plan to return next year to visit the Chitral and Skardu regions. My trip to Pakistan with Hunza Explorers is one of the most memorable tours I’ve taken. My trip to Pakistan with Hunza Explorers is one of the most memorable tours I’ve taken. I never really considered Pakistan as a place to visit until a friend suggested it and connected me with Karim, the main man of Hunza Explorers. Karim was very prompt in responding to all my queries right from the beginning. Once in Pakistan we were in the capable hands of Riaz and Aziz for the next 11 days to explore the beautiful Northern areas of Pakistan. Riaz’ passion and knowledge of the places and Aziz’ skills in navigating the challenging terrain is noteworthy. They made sure we get to experience as much as we could in the amount of time that we had without rushing us. Apart from the postcard worthy views that we got to soak in everyday, the fun company and warmth of the people especially at Hunza Explorers is what made this trip really memorable. Thank you once again to Riaz, Aziz, Tariq and Karim for the all the care and support even after the tour was over and all the lovely people we met along the day. We started off as tourists and left feeling like family. The service from Hunza Explorers very professional , special the owner Karim and his wife Lien, they help our team a lots when our first over sea travel trip after covid , they provide a lots necessary information for travel. My friends and I completed a customized tour of northern Pakistan for 24 days in October, 2021, including cultural sites in the cities as well UNESCO heritage Gandhara sites and gorgeous mountain explorations in Upper Hunza. I found Karim, president of Hunza Explorers Treks and Tours, to be a timely, trusted and wonderful communicator during our email planning sessions. His suggestions were excellent and his delivery was simply wonderful. Karim’s drivers were careful, giving us a feeling of security throughout the trip, which is important as some of the roads in the mountains need work and traffic in the cities is challenging at times. Karim was a marvelous tour guide who brought us to superb restaurants and honored all of our requests along the way. He makes good judgment calls and has a magnificent sense of humor. He plainly loves sharing anecdotes about his country, which gives so much insight into the fascinating, friendly people of Pakistan. I could not recommend Karim and his company more highly. My recent trip with him will remain a highlight for years to come. I would be delighted to answer any questions you might have regarding my itinerary. Hunza Explorers was recommended to me by my friend who traveled with them to Pakistan a year before. Karim is very competent and worked with me to design a custom itinerary within my budget in the short time that I had to visit. My guide Majeed and my driver Saeed were the sweetest, kindest, most patient people. I absolutely would travel with them again!!! I appreciate that I had a very well-rounded itinerary – – I saw so many different parts of Pakistan and I met the friendliest people. My bucket list item of meeting the Kalash people exceeded my expectations, and I was able to do so many more awesome things like “touch” a Passu cone, hug a baby goat, visit schools, eat local food, see ancient Buddhist sites, and ride in a tuk-tuk! I owe it all to Karim and his great team. I have been on numerous group and solo tours and I can absolutely say without a doubt that the service was top notch.
