The drivers knowledge and way of telling it was incredible. I’ll never forget the experience. We thought we knew a lot about Northern Ireland’s struggles but in fact knew very little. It was Jubilee weekend which made it better as the Protestant area was festooned with Union Jacks.

It makes you realise the depth of this conflict but also appreciate how far each side has progressed. We have no words for how deep this runs but the tours really bring a new level of appreciation and would 100% recommend Hugh.

A fantastic way to start learning about the history of the conflict in Belfast. Incredibly interesting and informative and Hugh was keen to answer every question and help explain things to us that we didn’t quite understand. Cannot recommend enough! Leaves you with many more questions, wish we’d had time to do some more tours.I would highly recommend it and I would even call it essential for visiting Belfast. I would highly recommend it and I would even call it essential for visiting Belfast. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Hugh was a terrific host. I think the official time is 1.5 hours but we had such a great time and learned so much about Belfast, and Hugh was kind enough to indulge us, that it ended up 3 hours. So informative and Hugh was very funny and answered all our questions and was such a great host. You need a tour for Belfast. The history there is ongoing so you don't want to be stuck in a museum looking at relics, it's out there in the streets and Hugh knows where to go. And on top of the nature of Belfast having such living history, you couldn't ask for a better guide than Hugh, truly. There are several tours of the city and I'm sure a lot our great but I took this one with Hugh so I can tell you its a safe bet and you'll have a great time and learn a lot.Hugh - was very knowledgeable and provided insight to the situations the murals depict and/or represent. The peace wall is very interesting too.

This made the tour particularly interesting for me. He also made some pretty funny remarks from time to time to lighten the mood!
