This retreat will bring you up close to two of the most majestic volcanic landscapes in the Indonesian Ring of Fires; Ijen crater and Mount Bromo. Be mesmerize by the electric blue flames of Ijen which can only be seen in the wee hours. Savour the beauty of the turquoise colored acidic lake and witness the indomitable spirit of the miners as they battle the treacherous terrain to haul heavy loads of mined sulphur to make a living. Hop on a 4WD to catch the rising sun casting its first rays over the surreal landscape of Tigger Caldera. The fuming Mount Bromo rising from the flat volcanic sand bed of the gigantic caldera will be a sight to behold. The top of Mount Bromo can be reached via 253 concrete steps making it one of the most accessible active volcanos in the world. End the trip with a visit to Surabaya, home to many of the nation’s fiercest independence fighters and thus known to locals as Kota Pahlawan (City of Heroes).

Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya - Bondowoso

Stop At: Bondowoso, Bondowoso, East Java, Java
Tour package started with picked you up at Surabaya Airport your arrival time ( it will be better before 12 pm ) and then transfer out to hotel in Bondowoso (approx. 5 hrs) including stop at local restaurant in Probolingggo to having lunch with on own expenses
Arrive at Hotel in Bondowoso, having Dinner and take a rest.

Day 2: Mount Ijen / Blue Fire - Sempol Village - Jember - Papuma Beach

Stop At: Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi 68454 Indonesia
Ijen Tour start at 00.00 am from hotel then directly drive to Paltuding (Ijen parking area) with duration trip 90 Min drive.

Then I will bring you to the trail head at the Ijen ranger post, where you will start the trek to the Ijen crater (approx. 1- 1.5 hrs). At the crater rim to seeing an amazing Blue flame from the gigantic crater and the 200 meter deep turquoise sulfuric crater lake. You will also be able to witness how some of the world’s toughest workers battle the toxic fumes and treacherous terrain to haul 70kg sacks brimming with sulphur deposit to make a living.

Stop At: Malabar Cafe, X4J5+2XC, Kp. Malang, Sempol, Kec. Ijen, Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur 68288, Indonesia
After enjoying the sunrise view at the crater, then we drive to the Sempol Village to Stop at Malabar Coffe Plantation to Drink Arabica Coffe & Snack then back to the Hotel take a shower and having lunch then checkout.

Stop At: Tanjung Papuma, Desa Sumberejo Kabupaten Jember, Jember Indonesia
After that continue the journey to the homestay in Jember City. At 03 pm we are going to Papuma Beach with duration trip 60 Min drive. Be mesmerised Sunset views over the Sea. After that we are going back to Hotel and stay over night.

Day 3: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall - Cemoro Lawang

Stop At: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Lumajang 67374 Indonesia
Tour start at 04.00 am from hotel ( Check out ) directly drive to Tumpak Sewu area, then having breakfast at local restaurant. After breakfast, we start to exploring Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Java Island and has an unique formation because it has a widening water flow like a curtain.

Finish enjoy waterfall and water spa then we having lunch at the local restaurant.

Day 4: Bromo Stargazing & Sunrise - Surabaya Night Tour

At around 01 am to prepare for Mount Bromo Stargazing and Milky Way View. after being witness the beautiful Night Sky the we are continue seeing sunrise views over the Bromo landscape. Rising from the flat volcanic sand bed of the caldera is the dormant core of Mount Batok (2440m) and the active volcano of Mount Bromo (2329m). Further south beyond the crater wall lies mighty Gunung Semeru (3676m) – the highest and most active volcano in Java.
