We absolutely loved the food tour with Daniel! Daniel has a genuine passion for the food, culture and people of Oaxaca, which shone through in his excitement of taking us through the market to try a whole variety of local flavours. We feel this is an absolute must if you want to experience the yummy and traditional food of Oaxaca, as there was some we may not have tried otherwise! We particularly liked that we only encountered local people within the market, so it was a very authentic experience. Would highly recommend!Such a privilege to see the market on a small group with our exceptional guide Daniel . It was very authentic and an absolute feast for the belly ….. and the eyes. The tour was okay but I felt a number of things were not very good: - The guide wasn't really listening to our questions throughout the trip (it wasn't his English, as he spoke perfect English) - Some team members would be left behind and I'm not sure whether he was keeping track of whether everyone was able to keep up with the walking (esp the older members of the group) - The food shown to us were really not very good or high quality, and I've had much better food at markets before. This also makes the price feel expensive as the food we got were really really cheap things. My sister and I really enjoyed this tour. You get to taste multiple types of food as well as tour through the 2nd largest market in Mexico. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice.
