Climb from the trailhead to the peak. You will have time to spend at the peak to enjoy the view. Return on the same trail.

Our guide, Mario, scooped us in Pana at 3:30 am and with a driver safely delivered us in the dark to the start of our hike. He led us up the short but steep path, and we experienced a magical sunrise from above the clouds.

My friend and I had a blast on the hike up to the beautiful sunrise view of Lake Atitlan! Lee was knowledgeable and fun! He even took us to a market to buy baskets from the village where they make them. Very unique and unforgettable experience all the way around!

The drive to Santa Clara was early but pleasant and sooo worth it once you start hiking up and get to the "chin" and to the "nose". Pure bliss! Highly recommended!
