Booked the boat tour not knowing what to expect. When we arrived Charlie had given us instruction on where to go. Mike was waiting for us and what an exceptional tour guide he was. My mother who has walking issues was helped on the boat and made feel very safe and secure. We had spots of rain that day but Mike was ready for it all. He had umbrellas and covers for everyone on board. Mike gave us his years of knowledge of the island and delivered the history behind Innisfallan with extreme detail. I would recommend anyone wanting to immerse them selves in irish history take this tour as Mike delivers an experience you will both enjoy and remember. The boat was clean and well maintained and the island was just gorgeous! Just enough time of the island to walk the trail the circles the little island and see the monastery. Very peaceful and serene. Even our boys said it was one of their favorite parts of the trip! Very cool to see such an old part of history. Good price for a short boat trip. The island was great to see with the deer and the ancient ruins. Mike was great captain who shared lots of information and is clearly very proud of Killarney, the nature of the park and the surrounding area. Thanks Mike and PS - we managed get a glimpse of the Eagles during our later trip through the woods.
