This was such a great experience, we brought our dog with us on vacation and this was a dog friendly place! The dogs can not go inside the buildings but we gladly took turns entering. Due to Covid-19 the lines were non existent and it was quick so a perfect time to visit! We highly recommend this as a tourist location for the whole family. They are practicing Covid safety, and the staff are all very friendly! Our favorite part was being able to actually walk through the Green Gables house, and all around the grounds as well. Have you read the "Anne of Green Gables" series of books? This site of the farm where Lucy Maude Montgomery once lived helps to bring the books to life. It's a glimpse of farm life in her lifetime and you can just see Anne running across the lawn. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed touring the house, barns and yard of this well preserved home. The displays of the author's life and accomplishments are well documented and interesting. Make it a "must see" stop on your next trip to the Maritimes! You will be glad you did!
