Stop At: Murdeira, Murdeira, Ilha do Sal
Murdeira is a village in the island of Sal, Cape Verde. The village is situated on the west coast, 9 km south of the island capital Espargos and 10 km north of Santa Maria.
The village sits in the center of a small cove beach inside the much larger Murdeira Bay (Baía de Murdeira), a nature reserve known for its rich underwater sealife and a small coral reef.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Palmeira, Palmeira, Ilha do Sal
Palmeira is a fishing town with fishing boats leaving the dock every day. Locals are rock fishing right of the black coral cliffs along the west coast of Palmeira,
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Buracona - Olho Azul, Sandstrasse von Palmeira Richtung Norden, Ilha do Sal Cape Verde
Buracona and the “blue eye” is basically a natural pool formed by the ocean into the lava rocks. When the light hits this natural pool from the right angle, the color turns into a magic turquoise blue reviling "the blue eye". It is absolutely beautiful.
Our guide will take you there to experience by your self, the entree fee is 3 euros per person.
Children up to 11 years old are free of charges.

Stop At: Salinas de Pedra de Lume, Q493+8C3, Pedra Lume, Cabo Verde
"The salt pans are dated to 1833 when an old mineral salt was discovered at Sal.The challenge was to transport the salt from the high crater to the boats in the port of Pedra de Lume."
Salt Lakes- A unique experience to float on water because of the high concentration of salt in the water,
The entrees fee is 5 euros per person
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Shark Bay, P4Q4+HFR, Feijoal, Cabo Verde
Our local tour guide will take you to paddling with lemon Sharks .
The bay Is full of corals so you will need to hire water shoes there and cost 2 euros.

We spent just the right amount of time at each stop, and with only a small group, everyone had opportunity to ask questions and feel the tour was personal to them. I have been meaning to write this review ever since our tour with Mr Cabral and his lovely wife back in September. We had a fabulous day out touring around Sal. We visited lots of places from the blue eye, to paddling with the lemon sharks and floating in the salt lakes. Cabral and his wife and the whole team are such lovely people, very knowledgeable and passionate about Cabo Verde and the Island of Sal. We stopped at a couple of beautiful safe swimming spots as it was a very hot day all the while benefiting from their local knowledge. We had lunch in a local restaurant which was delicious and accompanied by a low key performance from a young brother and sister act playing traditional Cape Verdean music. Such a privilege to be part of it and such a sweet tuneful voice and great guitar playing. We booked the night before from our hotel online and communications were excellent and we were picked up from the Riu Funana exactly as promised the next morning. I really cannot recommend Cabral Tours highly enough we had a fantastic, full and fun filled day and we would it do it all again if we are back in Santa Maria.IanB582

What a great day. We went me and Brexit with friends (the Birds) who had been out with Cabral the previous year. Cabral came with driver Keven and they were the best hosts and guides. The whole day was as we wanted it with as long as you wanted at each location rather than sticking to a time. We visited the school at the shanty town and dropped in some much needed equipment that we had brought over. It is better that these donations are equally distributed by those who are running the charity school. The other parts of the day have all been described by many others and are all very interesting. Especially the Lemon sharks, we were fortunate to see not only the young ones but four full grown adults very close. We had a great meal at Espargos in a lovely restaurant. If you want a great day out with a great host, book with Cabral. We will see you next year for a ride around the island and this time meet for a catch up in Santa Maria in the evening. This was the best day of our holiday!! Danny promptly picked us up from reception he was so friendly and knowledgeable brilliant guide!! At the mirage he took photos for us sooo funny, the blue eye was amazing, we went into the shanti town, we had taken fruit from breakfast to give to the children who were so thankful, it was quite emotional. We stopped off for lunch which wasn't my favourite bit but I am fussy. When we went to sharks bay the sea was quite rough so hard to take photos of the lemon sharks however the big boys turned up amazing to see but felt safe. Finally went to the salt lakes where you couldn't help but float great end to a fabulous day! 100% book this trip with Cabral tours if you're going to Sal !MartinLarsson97
