Stop At: Desert Thar Safari, Gandhi Chowk Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer 345001 India
You will first start by a jeep ride and stop at 2 historical monuments on the road, then at an oasis, before to reach a village where you'll meet your camels. Now you start a ride to the dunes to enjoy the sunset there before preparing dinner thanks to wood fire. An unforgettable night under the stars is waiting for you.

The camel safari trip and stay in the camp was exceptional. This was a highlight of our trip. Especially in the dunes. Thank you for the stop over in your favourite place where we had off the ground seating, a nice camp fire and good time to relax, drink wine and enjoy the outdoors. I thought the whole experience was superior in the way we were treated, the accommodations, the attention to detail and the natural beauty, photographic opportunities, taking time to enjoy nature, and the arrival at the camp where we enjoyed music, food, dancing, wine, time to chat with the dancer woman. Our rooms in the camp were lovely, and the facilities and breakfast were all exceptional. I would highly recommend your accommodations, the safari experience and the food experiences that I enjoyed, to any one of my friends and family.On point on our list when visiting Jaisalmer was a stay in the desert. On point on our list when visiting Jaisalmer was a stay in the desert. On our way to Jaisalmer we had a discussion whether to go for the luxury tent camps or the minimalistic one. As we wanted something quite and more private, we went for the minimalistic one - this one. It definitely was the right choice given the experience we had. Our major concern was sleeping just under the stars, because we were afraid it could be too cold. But we had more sheets than enough and it was simply amazing under the stars. The people involved were totally nice and polite. They cooked us a delicious dinner in the desert. We were not able to stop them to put more and more on our plates. So we were pretty stuffed in the end. Another good thing was, that we were alone in the camp. OK there were the guides and driver, but no other tourists. So it was really quite and dark once the sun set. This was, what we were looking for in the desert. In total it was one of our best experiences we had during our India trip. The camel ride was an experience but the dinner in the dunes coked over the campfire was outstanding. If you visit Jaisalmer this trip is a must and you won’t regret it. It’s also excellent value for money.We went to desert with jeep,then we took the camel for a hour and half, Mr. Karmal the owner of camel were so kind ,he cooked for us a nice dinnar and take care about us, i felt like home ....sleeping in the desert ,comfortable bed e very warm sheets .....i reccomend Mr. Karmal ✌✌✌✌

We were really looking forward to visiting the desert and, even if we didn't have much time to spend in and around Jaisalmer, and, even if the season is not the optimal for a visit to the desert, the tour really exceeded our expectations. Kamal is a really good guide and driver, and so is Swroop. They provided a nice view from the area, both the desert and the rest of the places we visited throughout the tour and they really made our journey back to the hotel exciting and enjoyable despite the horrible weather conditions. We could see the sunset whereas we would have seen the stars in the night sky if it hadn't been for the rain. That's the monsoon weather!We booked the safari through Jasmin Home. Such a fun trip! The camel riding was great and we camped overnight in a quiet spot under the stars. Complete desert calm. Three sisters traveling together, we felt completely safe and attended to at all times. Highly recommended.
