Stop At: Island Adventures Co. Ltd, Gros Islet St. Lucia
Tour kicks off with a 55 minute East Coast Drive to the village of Dennery. The zip line adventure begins by getting geared up for the thrill of overlooking trees and streams below and hopping from platform to platform. Cool off by swimming in a natural pool waterfall surrounded by lush vegetation or if you’re Ecocentric, explore the surrounding area and look out for some exotic bird life if you are lucky.
Hop back onboard the jeep safari to continue your journey with a cliff top view, refreshments, eats and local rum punch served chilled. Your driver guide will definitely make this experience worthwhile.

The waterfall was picturesque. I highly recommend this trip.The trip was excellent. Our driver was Mason and he was amazing!! He gave us so much information about everything produced on the island. On our first trip to Saint Lucia we decided to do the Island Adventures Rain Forest Jeep & Zip Safari. This tour delivered on all aspects. Mason gave us a great jeep ride and nature lesson on the way to the lines, stopping occasionally to educate us about cocoa, banana, cinnamon, nutmeg and other flora and fauna. Do you know why bananas curve? The zip line park is top notch, with 12 lines in all. A few of them are over 500 ft in length. The staff are very courteous, patient and professional. All connections to the lines and equipment are redundant and very safe. Food and restrooms are available at the park. They also had hummingbird feeders and we were able to observe many hummingbirds. We finished the day at the Dennery water falls. Because it was the dry season, it was a trickle. Otherwise, this excursion is well worth the money. Go!Our trip was October 12, 2023. Our trip was October 12, 2023. The Jeep ride was a lot of fun especially on the way back to the resort. However i was uncomfortable with one of the employees at the Zip, hitting on me when my husband was not around. I was second last on the tour, my husband being last and the one employee made me feel extremely uncomfortable being alone with him when either being hooked/unhooked to the line. Thankfully there was another male employee who began to notice at Zip 9 and was trying to stay with me & husband and even inquired if I was okay and recognized when I began not to enjoy myself on the tour. I forgot his name, but he was a shorter man. I only told my husband after we completed Zip 12 since I knew I would be safe. I had inquired during the Zip tour when I could leave early and they mentioned only at Zip 6 and Zip 8. Unfortunately, the employee waited until after Zip 8 to make any comments. The ziplining itself was a lot of fun and a beautiful experience with the views. However the employee made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Also not to forget. A man in a white shirt was hooking my husband on the line and did so incorrectly!!! Thankfully the woman who was working caught it and hooked my husband safely. The guy in the white shirt thankfully was not seen again on the remainder of the stations for the tour so everyone was safe.Wendel was a fantastic tour guide! We stopped off at lots of fruit trees and sampled some of the islands’ delicacies straight from the plant. Wendel was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable.Wendel was an amazing tour guide! The jeep ride, zip line, water fall hike, and the ride back to the resort were all great! He made our excursion very personal and even took pictures for us.
