A truly memorable day with Thabang. A lifetime resident of Soweto, he provided a local’s perspective of Joburg and Soweto. He was kind, punctual and I felt completely safe. Ask if the Apartheid museum is open on the day you are touringand he can arrange to include that in the tour. It is extraordinary. Plan to have extra rand with you to gift to some of the volunteers in Soweto and the Mandela House. Thabang, Thank you so much for a real and intimate tour of Johannesburg and Soweto. We were able to understand so much of the city history because of your knowledge. You told us exactly the right amount of information, took us to relevant places and showed us the real "J-Burg" experience. I will never be able to repay you for showing us the parts of the city that made it real (and not just the main attractions).
