Drive through the Kalerwe Market, one of Uganda's largest markets located on Gayaza Road adjacent to the Northern By-pass about 5 kilometres from Kampala City centre. You will proceed to Saint Mary's Cathedral Rubaga, commonly referred to as Rubaga Cathedral, the parent cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala, the oldest Roman Catholic diocese in Uganda. The Towering house of God stands on top of one of the original seven hills that make up the city of Kampala.
