The guides were really friendly and even though there wasn't a lot of action to swim with dolphins (they are wild creatures, so don't perform on command) the captain searched for them amongst semi rough conditions. (*again, one cant control things like the weather) Toward the end of the experience, seals were spotted and we were able to get in the water with the few that were in the water and swim with them. The water, although a little murky due the weather, still allowed us to see the seals underwater swimming next to us. It was an awesome experience to have and I left with the biggest smile on my face. A real highlight of the trip!! A few tips: there is a toilet and a few pop up change tents at the shed before you go by bus (2 minute drive ) to the boat, but no showers to wash off or get warm after being in the water, if you are planning on doing other things after, just be aware. There is a toilet also on board. You are supplied with a wetsuit, snorkel and mask. We went at the end of April and had 3mm wetsuits, not sure if thicker one are available in the cooler months, so maybe check. You can bring your own. You may also want to bring your own wetsuit gloves and socks if you feel the cold, as these were not supplied. Windbreaker are provided to keep you warm in between swims/snorkels. The company don't offer go pros for hire, bring your own (or similar) There is no food or drinks for purchase on board, as the tour starts at 12pm and you are to be there at 11.30 and it goes for 2 hours, maybe bring a museli bar for a snack, and water (or a Thermos of a warm beverage of its really cold) The local pub in Penneshaw closes at 2.30 pm on the dot for food, so again, be mindful of time if you want lunch at the pub as I saw people from our tour turned away. Bring travel sickness tablets. We had a great time. Staff were friendly and professional. The staff we particularly good with the children on board.

We were lucky enough to get very close to several pods of dolphins, and a small group of fur seals. As an older participant I found the swim very difficult in rough windy conditions. There was a lot more swimming than I realised, to return to the tow rope. Neither of the crew seemed aware I was struggling, and I was fortunate to be helped back to the rope by two very kind younger participants. Don’t attempt the swim unless you’re a strong swimmer. My husband, who remained on the boat, got a much better view of the dolphins. Nonetheless it was a great wildlife encounter. Was pleased to view pods closely from the boat. Was pleased to view pods closely from the boat. Was grateful for the excellent experience snorkelling. The swim with the dolphins was disappointing…was not able to leave tow rope. Crowded on rope. Dolphins not close to rope. I chose to wear a floatation vest. All people wearing a vest were confined to the rope. Others, who were able to leave the rope probably had a better experience The young man on the boat had the best manner with people. He had the ability to guide and instil confidence. The driver was also pleasant and shared interesting information.
