What to expect
Kayaking is a privileged means of exploring both the Ebro river and the city of Zaragoza. We will provide you with a short briefing at the starting point: You do not need any expertise. Along the descent, our guides will always be available to provide security instructions, touristic & environmental information, and of course some advices to improve your paddling style. We always like to stop half way to stretch our legs, have a swim if anyone wants to, chat about the river and enjoy some summer snacks.
In this trip you can enjoy some of the most beautiful views of old town (including the very impressive El Pilar cathedral) and EXPO 2008 site. You will enjoy 9 bridges from very different periods and styles, from very modern and unique "Pavillion Bridge" to the yet unbeatable medieval "Stone Bridge".
This descent also includes experiencing the natural values of the Ebro river, which at the first halfo of the trip will make you feel like if you were really fareway from the city... while being actually in it. Birdwatching is, surprisingly, one of the highlights here; -)

We had a great experience with the ebroNAUTAS! We had accidentally made a reservation for the wrong week, and did not yet figure out how to get to the starting place for the tour. All was sorted out the night before after sending a whatsapp, and we’re glad it did! We were picked up in the morning from Alagón, which is a beautiful small town, and prepared for the tour. After a quick kayak lesson on land we went to water and enjoyed the environment with a very “tranquilo” attitude, while we were entertained by enthousiastic information about the landscape by our guides. I would definitely recommend this experience! My husband and I and our three children (aged 5, 10 and 14) really enjoyed our evening of kayaking with Pablo and Nestor. The people running this have got it down to a tee - a fantastic tour that lasts just the right amount of time, with a great introduction and a good break at the right time in the middle. Very knowledgeable, friendly team of people who make sure you are happy and chat to you on the way. Excellent English, too! An absolute must if you're staying in Zaragoza We did the evening tour (nocturNautas) which started in early evening, setting off at about 19.30 and we travelled as the sun set, finishing at night at around 22.30 - it was the first time we had kayaked on open water and the guys put us totally at ease, made sure we were happy and translated the instructions that were given to the largely Spanish group we were with. If you have any questions beforehand the staff were happy to help by email beforehand and were very accommodating for us. Can't praise them enough! We booked a 4h kayak trip on Ebro with EbroNautas and enjoyed it to the fullest. The booking process was pretty easy, by email. Things we loved: 1. One of the ebroNAUTAS guys comes along throughout the whole trip. He was extremely patient and helpful with all our questions. We left the activity energized and ready to eat an amazing lunch at Los Angeles, Alagon, about 10 minutes away. 100% recommendedthe Bridges of Zaragoza was one of our activities when visiting Spain during our university field trip. the Bridges of Zaragoza was one of our activities when visiting Spain during our university field trip. We study tourism and all of us agreed that this trip overcame our expectations - our guide Nestor was really funny and turned the kayaking tour into an amazing experience where we learned about different parts of the city as we were paddling our way down the river and seeing the beauty of the area through the architecture, unique bridges and how local people enjoy their free time along or on the river. Kayaks and the equipment were modern and comfortable. This is a great way how to explore Zaragoza with the local professional guides.
