Stop At: Louvre Museum, 99 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris France
You'll enter the museum with prebooked tickets.
The Louvre truly has something for everyone in the family, and your guide keeps the kids enthralled with interesting facts about the history of the museum and its works of art, for instance, the fact that the Louvre was built in the 12th century and was originally a fortress and palace.
With your guide leading the way, see the works of major artists like Géricault, Canova, Delacroix, Bernini, Michelangelo, Ingres, and Ghirlandaio. Perhaps you'll also see the Crown Jewels or the Napoleon III Apartments, depending on your interests and availability of masterpieces. Of course, you probably won't want to miss Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, as well as other famed masterpieces such as the Winged Victory of Samothrace and Venus de Milo.
You can decide if you want to go for a 2 hour or a 3 hour tour, depending on the needs of your kids, and what you see can be tailored to your preferences and the ages of your children.

Highly recommended. Showed all the highlights of the museum and had paper and colouring pens handy for when the kids got a bit tired. I thought it was fascinating and learnt so much that I wouldn’t have done wondering round the museum by myself.

Our guide Raphaelle (named for the painter) was very knowledgeable about art and knew exactly how much detail to give us to keep us entertained and informed. We learned a lot and enjoyed every minute of our tour!

The Louvre is, perhaps, the most beautiful museum I’ve ever seen. This is my 3rd time there, but the first time with a guide. Having a guide makes a HUGE difference to understanding and appreciating what you’re seeing. Our guide, Katia, was so knowledgeable and engaging. She made sure our 11 year old Granddaughter felt fully included and involved. The one critique is that Katia has a lovely voice that doesn’t carry. The Louvre was so crowded it was incredibly difficult to hear her. At times we gave up. I blame her tour company for not equipping her with the whisperers. She shouldn’t have to yell and we shouldn’t have to strain to hear each word. Its 2022. These devices have been around and should be used routinely in those circumstances. Otherwise, it was a really good tour. Our guide was fantastic and did a great job of keeping the kids engaged and entertained. We learned so much from her about the various art periods and how to recognize different subjects.
