Free tour meaning you give the guide what you believe they earned. For my son and I 30 Euros is what we donated and our tour group size was 13 overall. Brief stop in the plaza where the government offices are so make sure to grab some empanadas from a shop just off the plaza and a coffee from Costa to go. Wonderful tour with enough detail and visit a good number of plazas, churches, etc including pointing out where the original Roman walls can be seen integrated into some buildings. The original Roman columns were impressive. Just the right amount of history and stories to really make you learn and grasp. When my wife and I visit in the future I will be sure to book the same tour so she can enjoy. Oh, don’t look at the skull....Miguel was our wonderful tour guide and did a great job of showing us the city! He was very knowledgable and engageing. Miguel was our wonderful tour guide and did a great job of showing us the city! He was very knowledgable and engageing. We always do a free walking tour in the beginning of vacations. It is a great way to learn and understand the layout and history of cities. Miguel made sure we were always able to really see and be near attractions. He also gave anyone in the group recommendations for afterwards. I highly suggest this tour. It is perfect for a short or long stay in Barcelona!
