The Laem Sor pagoda sits right at the end of the somewhat rocky beach of Bang Kao. The pagoda has a golden glowing appearance, especially in the sunlight, when the contrast with the blue waters of the ocean makes for some beautiful images. Actually, the pagoda is not gold but built from yellow-colored tiles that make it look golden from a distance.

Our original tour was a 4x4 jungle tour, but due to bad weather, Mr Pots discussed options with us. In the end, we did an island tour focused on local food, sightsee and nature. It was a blessings in disguise as we traveled around in an air conditioned van, which was so nice in-between visits! M...
Our original tour was a 4x4 jungle tour, but due to bad weather, Mr Pots discussed options with us. In the end, we did an island tour focused on local food, sightsee and nature. It was a blessings in disguise as we traveled around in an air conditioned van, which was so nice in-between visits! Mr Pots was very attentive and knowledgeable about Koh Samui (he lives there!). Tailored the tour to what we wanted, and super nice company on our 6 hours trip together. Loved the local food tour (Coconut ice cream, fresh pineapple, Thai tea, roti, ended with a meal at a local roadside restaurant surrounded by coconut trees.) Highly recommend! We booked in advance (directly via email on his website) to secure our spot, they were definitely getting more busy during our visit to Koh Samui.Idiotabroadbbc

Mr samui even called me when we had been picked up just to ensure our driver knew what we wanted to do and see. They were very flexible and very accomodating.
