I joined the KR Market Photowalk organized by Rustik Travels on 12 Jan. It was a great experience to learn about the history of Bangalore, explore the local markets, and connect with some amazing photography enthusiasts from the region. Hemant and Rajesh engage everyone and ensures that the walk is enjoyed by everyone. I would love to join the future photowalks with the team and learn more.I came across this event via one of my friends who shared the link in Facebook. I came across this event via one of my friends who shared the link in Facebook. I joined in and registered, and as it turns out, it was a wise decision in the end. The event was very well coordinated by Mr. Hemant. The location was shared clearly as well as the best route to reach and suggested mode of transport. It started on time and we walked around the busy narrow lanes of KR Market, clicking all the way. We had the privilege to listen to the history from a very well versed individual about how the market came into existence. We also had expert photographers to teach the nuances and crafts of street photography. Learning from experienced peers is the best way to learn anything. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this for anyone who has interest in photography. The company actually customized a tour for us encompassing the KR Market Photo Walk, Medieval Bengaluru Walk, and the Namma Bangalore Walk. The company actually customized a tour for us encompassing the KR Market Photo Walk, Medieval Bengaluru Walk, and the Namma Bangalore Walk. My three guests and I very much enjoyed all aspects of the tour. Both Hemant and Rajesh were our guides. They have a wealth of knowledge about India and Bangalore. Everyone in our group found out interesting things about each area and the history of Bangalore. As a native English speaker, II had no difficulty understanding them. My guests were English second language speakers (with their native language being French). They were able to understand just about everything as well. Because we were not familiar with the area, they met us at the metro exit when we arrived by metro, which was much appreciated. Somehow, even with all four of us on the tour stopping to take pictures of subjects that caught each of our individual fancies, they did not lose us in the crowded marketplace. They did a wonderful job of tying all the information together from one stop to the next. Hopefully I will have the chance to use them again. That's an amazing photo walk, impressive quantity of subjects and inspiration in this central part of Bengaluru. Rajesh helped in finding the right path with also historical and informational insights. Recommended!

Rustik did a great job coordinating this photowalk in Bangalore’s busiest area. They explained the heritage part of it, guided us on the photography aspects and ensured that we started and finished on time. This is a difficult place to visit on one’s own and it helped immensely to be in a group. Ramnath (photo mentor) and Rajesh (heritage guide) were always on hand to ably sort out our issues. Along with Hemant of Rustik, the trio are doing a great job of reaching out to explain the history of Bangalore. Many thanks to them for their valuable time and heartfelt efforts. Truly impressed! May their tribe increase. Look forward to more.
