We had a great day with our guide Masa, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured we experienced all the hidden spots Arashiyama has to offer. The tour was followed by a nice lunch, Leaving us in the perfect spot to continue on with exploring monkey park. We highly recommend this tour!

Enjoyed the tour. Mayo did an excellent job. Bamboo forest, food, and she even waited for us when we arrived a few mins late.

I chose this tour to educate my family on the complex Arashiyama area and maybe learn a thing or two as I had visited some different sights in the area in the past. We got to visit quite a few historic temple including walk through traditional streets, taste Kyoto food, visit gardens and a coup...
I chose this tour to educate my family on the complex Arashiyama area and maybe learn a thing or two as I had visited some different sights in the area in the past. We got to visit quite a few historic temple including walk through traditional streets, taste Kyoto food, visit gardens and a couple of craft shops. I would not be able to see so many sites on my own as the tour guides knew all the shortcuts around the town. They lacked more detailed knowledge on the area and temples. However, it was still a very pleasant experience and they would have got better score if they had spent more time researching the area. The restaurant had good food and we were often walking with only a handful of other people at these sites. I felt the Kyoto Zen experience with this tour.
