In the morning we are going to pick you up from your hotel and start our trip taking the route 40.

Stop At: Lago Huechulafquen, Neuquen Argentina

After traveling for 42 km and leaving Junín de los Andes, a small village representative of the region’s Mapuche culture, catch your first glimpse of Lake Huechulafquen, an emerald glacial lake in Lanín National Park. The majestic, snow-capped Lanín Volcano sits prominently in the background.

Stop At: Volcan Lanin, Junin de los Andes Argentina

Continue on to the Mapuche community of Cañicul, where you can sample local specialties like grilled meats and fresh salad (own expense), then stroll the black volcanic sand beaches. Once you’ve sated your appetite, head to the 12, 388-foot-high (3, 776-meter) Lanín Volcano, where you’re greeted with views of shimmering glaciers and lush hillsides in the distance. Stop at the southern base, the closest entrance to the volcano, and bust out your camera for frame-worthy photos.

Stop At: Lago Paimun, Parque Nacional Lanin, Junin de los Andes Argentina

This stop at Lake Paimun gives your small group the opportunity to visit another chapel, with images of ancient Mapuche people.

i take this excursion because i could not book another one to villa la Angostura, and I was really surprised of the beauty of the lake, place araound and the sigth of the lanin Volcano, do it!!

Es una excursion muy linda ideal para gente con movilidad reducida ya que vas en trafic y no tenes que caminar mucho. No la recomiendo con niños, ya que el viaje es largo, creo que se aburrirían. Sin duda padeo onligado. Hay que abonar entrada a parque y el paseo en catamaran al rio petrificado con su bosque bonsai que tan bien explica el guia. Sin desperdicio!!!!!

El lago es inmenso y hermoso. El Volcàn Lanìn se ve de lejos. Para poder llegar hay que ir al Lago Paimùn y pagar para entrar en los campings concesionados o hacer una excursiòn. Yendo al lago Huechulafquen recomiendo visitar Puerto Canoa que tiene una pequeña playa al lago y el acceso es gratuit...
