I had a wonderful 3-day visit to Lalibela with Dan. It is essential you visit Lalibela with a guide and Dan was fantastic. Prior to my arrival he worked with me to understand the combination of experiences I was looking for which included culture and nature. His flexibility and knowledge of the surrounding areas made it thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Dan has a unique connection to the area going back generations which gives him both a formal and personal understanding of the richness of Lalibela. Grazie DanSuch a special experience all around. The churches in Lalibela and Yemane Khristos were more than worth the trip.
