I was in Las Vegas for leisure while my husband worked and thought that this museum would be a good way to stay away from the casinos. The museum is on need of some serious updates as many of the displays were so outdated. Not many true artifacts here, just a lot of reproductions. There was a pretty foul odor throughout the place as well. The staff there were very welcoming and kind, and I think it's a good place to take young children. It really doesn't take longer than an hour or two to get thru the whole museum. This is a not-for-profit that truly needs help from the Vegas community. If you’re sick of the Strip and all that it offers or the wonders of the Fremont Experience, take an air conditioned break from the glitz and sin and educate yourself for a couple of hours. If you’re sick of the Strip and all that it offers or the wonders of the Fremont Experience, take an air conditioned break from the glitz and sin and educate yourself for a couple of hours. We spent a quiet afternoon enjoying the exhibits, learning about Nevada natural history, Egyptian history and just delighted in being somewhere that was calm and not full of flashing neon lights. The price of admission is most reasonable and there is lots to see. It’s not fancy, but to me, it was much needed after spending too much time near the casinos. The staff were extremely nice, helpful and welcoming. I do wish the gift shop had more of a selection of souvenirs because I would have liked to have bought something to help keep their endeavors going. It was a lovely museum trip.So many neat things to see during the festival and every year my kids especially look forward to going to the Natural History Museum. Everything you need in a natural history museum.Le musée, situé au nord de Las Vegas n'est pas très connu. Il est situé après Fremont Street et le musée du Néon. Il y a des animaux empaillés, un aquarium, des reptiles, des dinosaures et une exposition égyptienne.

My family and I had a great time, everyone was very nice and very sanitized...Thank you for the experience, we will be back again soon🥰It was a boiling hot day, so I decided to do an indoor activity, and this is a little gem. It is really aimed at children, but I spent a very happy hour looking at the exhibits. It is a small museum, but filled and well set out. Lots for kids to touch and explore.
