Hello Fellow Travelers. In December I had a long layover in Panama City, Panama and sat at Tocumen Airport for eight hours bored silly. This month I had the same flights but I decided not to sit around people watching. I hired Miguel through Viator for a "Long Layover Tour." Miguel is friendly and attentive. He picked me up right outside the terminal and off we went. We visited the Panama Canal and watched a huge oil tanker negotiate the locks. We watched an Imax movie about the history and the construction of the Canal and then opted for lunch. Which was delicious! Afterwards we saw the sites of a beautiful city and a country rich is history and culture. Miguel is a great guide for solo travelers like me or for large groups. If you have time on your hands in Panama City, Panama contact Miguel. You won't be disappointed. My daughter and I had a 12 hour layover in Panama City.
