I was blown away by our tour of Chichen Itza. Chris (our tour guide) went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He catered the tour to our interests and taught us about things we had questions about. We left feeling a great desire to learn more about the ancient Mayan people. We discussed the possibility of going to a site like this without a tour guide and we would have been lost without Almatours! Thank you for everything. I highly recommend going to this site with an Almatours tour guide! We got to spend the day with Luis and another small family group touring Chichen Itza. We got to spend the day with Luis and another small family group touring Chichen Itza. We were picked up early (7:15) from our hotel in the Cancun hotel district. The drive is a little over two hours, but worth it to see one of the wonders of the world. Luis was a great guide and had a lot of knowledge about Mayan History, and answered questions relating to LDS and BOM history. Chichen itza was was awe inspiring, it is crazy what this ancient people accomplished without modern technology and equipment. There are lots of people selling goods and souvenirs, I’m sure like there were in Mayan times. We then traveled about 5 minutes to a Yucatán style buffet lunch that was fantastic—-beans and rice, fried fish, sopa de limon. Swimming in the cenote was a cool experience—-something that should be on everyone’s bucket list. Lockers and life jackets were included and we had no extra costs on this excursion, except tips and souvenirs. Everyone slept on the way back to hotel drop off—-it was a full day and totally worth it!One of the highlights of our trip. Very knowledge and professional. I've already referred family to Alma Tours.

Only feedback would be to update the website. 2005 was great, 2022 websites are better. A suggestion for opportunity would be to offer an option for tours for the trust/security of LDS tours without the lecture.
